Pavement Vaults Logo

Pavement Vaults brings you the finest, most flavoursome BBQ and smoked food alongside a top drawer range of craft beer, wine and cocktails.

Located in the heart of historic York on the south side of Parliament Square, like the majority of York Pavement Vaults and its earlier incarnations are steeped in history. Originally it was part of Pavement, a medieval street dating back to 1378, but was bisected in order to make way for Piccadilly. Prior to the demolition the site was a coaching inn. The White Swan Hotel was built on the site in 1912 and the “Centre Bar,” housed within the hotel, was a popular hangout for York’s young hedonists.

This unpasteurised and internationally awarded brewery is available in all our bars and is served in several different styles including lagers, a dark lager and unfiltered.

Timothy Taylors are one of the UK’s best respected breweries and our house beer is the ever popular Landlord.

Tapped Brew Co products are brewed weekly in our Leeds and Sheffield sites which contain microbreweries. This range is available regularly at Pavement Vaults alongside 18 other rotating cask/keg products all sourced through our own warehouse and buying team. The line up includes limited release brews and brewery collaborations.
